The God's Wife

Explore the capture ↓

The photographed gallery label identifies a God’s Wife of Amun and lists Karnak and granite. Its dating is internally inconsistent: the prose says Late Period, while the date line says Third Intermediate Period (1069–747 BC). The exact date and identity remain unresolved.

THE RECORD BEHIND THE OBJECT

A surface.
A photograph.
A point of view.

What the capture shows +

The period shown follows the plaque’s date line, which conflicts with its prose. Karnak is the labelled historical provenance, not a verified capture location. The capture museum and date have not yet been established.

Capture and processing +

47 raw images from a single session, processed with Apple's PhotogrammetrySession (RealityKit) into a watertight textured mesh of 49,764 faces at 4096px. The archival file is 29 MB; the copy that turns in this viewer is the same geometry at 3.7 MB, mesh-compressed with a JPEG texture for the web.

IDENTIFICATION & EVIDENCE

Historical sources & uncertainty

The label itself gives conflicting dates. The period remains disputed. Karnak is historical provenance; capture location and capture date are unrecorded.
