Using the website

This website is operated by Omar Atabany. You may browse its public pages without creating an account. Use it lawfully and respectfully. Do not disrupt the service, flood its forms or demos, bypass access restrictions, or misrepresent authorship of published work.

Content and reuse

Follow the licence displayed on each record or download. Released ArchaeoArchive records identified as CC BY 4.0 may be reused under that licence, including its attribution requirements. Unreleased captures and material without an explicit reuse licence do not receive a licence merely because they can be viewed. Rights in underlying objects, third-party photographs, logos and other third-party material remain with their respective rights holders.

Portfolio text, design and illustrations are provided for viewing unless a separate licence is stated. Contact us to discuss reuse where no licence is given. Nothing here restricts rights granted by an applicable open licence or by law.

Records and technical information

Captures and descriptions document the information available when they were made. They can contain gaps, incomplete geometry or identification errors. A visual model is not a certified survey or conservation assessment. Confirm suitability before using a record for measurement, engineering, conservation or other consequential decisions. Corrections and additional context are welcome.

Commissioned services

Enquiries are invitations to discuss a project, not confirmed bookings. Scope, site access, deliverables, fees, schedule, usage rights and any cancellation arrangements are agreed separately in writing before work begins. Commissioned services are paid unless expressly waived. Sending an enquiry does not authorise publication of a commissioned scan.

Public archive browsing and released downloads remain free and separate from commissioned services. A separate signed project agreement governs that engagement if its terms differ from this general notice.

Availability and external links

We work to keep the site useful and available, but records and features may change or be temporarily unavailable. External websites are operated by others. The live AWS demo is for harmless test messages only; do not submit sensitive information or abusive content.

Questions and updates

Contact omar@atabany.com about these terms, content rights or a problem with the site. These terms may be updated with a new date. Nothing in this notice excludes rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
