How this record was made

50 raw images from a single session at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization on 19 August 2026, processed with Apple's PhotogrammetrySession (RealityKit) into a watertight textured mesh of 468,402 faces at 4096px. The archival file is 55 MB; the copy that turns in this viewer is the same geometry at 7.5 MB, mesh-compressed with a JPEG texture for the web.

The heaviest record in the archive at 468,000 faces, roughly ten times most of the collection, which is why it is the slowest to appear.
